Before she ever designed with flowers, Kim worked in interior design. And eventually joined the visual team at Anthropologie. There she saw firsthand how color, texture, and thoughtful styling can shape the feeling of a space. Those early experiences still guide her and continue to influence the way she sees balance, atmosphere, and the small details that pull everything together.
Swoon began when Kim started creating florals for friends in the early days of her career. What started as a side project quickly showed her how naturally her eye for interiors and styling translated into floral design.
Over the last 13 years, Kim has developed a distinctive approach that combines structure with intuition. She can read what clients are reaching for—spoken or not—and create something that nails what they were imagining.
Today, Swoon is known for more than decoration. Because Kim approaches florals the way she approaches any space: as an opportunity to create a feeling people will remember.
